聖週間の出来事

聖木曜の典礼の中に洗足式という儀式があります。
私はある村に行き、式を執り行いました。実は、洗足式のことを考えると私は楽しみと不安を抱いていました。というのは選ばれる12人の足はどんな足か、ちゃんと綺麗に洗ってあるか、怪我をしていないかなどです。特に皮膚病の多い場所ですからね。

木曜日の午後2時、村に向かっている時に大雨が降り出しました。村道は泥だらけです。こうして私は12人の足のことを想像しなくなりました。というのは彼らは裸足で教会に来ますから泥
の足になることを考えなくても分かりますから…その通り、式中は、12人の弟子の足を洗うのにいくら水があっても水が足りません。それに、用意されているのは一枚のタオルだけなので、私は洗った12人の足をタオルで拭くことを諦めました。

12人の足を洗いながら私はこう思いました。
2000年前のイエス様の弟子たちの足もこんなもんだったのかな！
イエス様は本気でひとり一人の足をきれいに洗ったのでしょうね。

テテレ村の新しい顔

今年に入ってから教会の庭に公衆電話、ATM、郵便局が出来ました。サレジオ会はそれらを必要としているから申請したのです。しかし、使う人が殆どいません。

そしてＥ−メールを送るのに、もう町に行く必要がなくなりました。私たちにとっては便利になりましたが、村の方々には無縁です。

急に新しいものが入ってきたので、人々は戸惑いますし、モノに対する欲も出てきます。先日私たちのライト用のSolarや発電機のBateryやWaterPompの一部が盗まれました。一枚のSolar
は約20万円です。４枚も盗まれましたから…痛いです。泥棒（さま）は大喜びでしょう。というのはサレジオ会で毎日汗を流して仕事しても月に９００ドル（1万5千円位）しかもらえない
からです。

素敵な話

I got an article from one of my friends.
The name is" Love is a verb". This story was talking about a man and his mother.

A story is... A man is a 40 years old teacher . He know a story of Jesus wash his disciple's feet so he was asking his students to do it for their mother. But, his student asked him do it frist then they will follow.

He was thinking how could he do it for his mother. One night after dinner he told his mother his idea of wash her feet. His mother feel embarrassed and say "no", so he told his mother said this is a program of his school and he need write report after it. His mother agree it.

He took a washbasin to front of his mother. When he begin hold his mother foot up then memory of childhood came to his mind. His eyes full of tears. He couldn't stop his tears. He was thinking how his mother work so hard and bring he grown up. He mother move by his action.

Next day he told his students that he did it. Some of students start follow him. Some of father of student cry when their child do it for their mother because some of their mother pass away and they couldn't devotion for their mother anymore.

This is a story that I would like share with you all.
