1 Daughters of the Heart of Mary is a Catholic religious congregation founded in France in the middle of the French Revolution more than 200 years ago by two Founders.

Father Pierre Picot de Cloriviere. (1735-1820) Society of Jesus.
During the time of the French Revolution all religious life was suppressed, in this situation the Founders received an inspiration (from God) for a form of religious life that could live without any exterior distinguishing mark.

Adelaide de Cice (1749-1818) (First Superior of the Society of the Daughters of the Heart of Mary) looked for a suitable religious life to promote it.
She received the light of a religious life that this was possible and she went to a place to serve those who were in need.
